There are moments in entrepreneurship that feel like tiny celebrations — signs that you’re growing, evolving, and stepping into alignment. My recent conversation with the amazing Grace Perry on her Give Yourself Grace podcast was one of those unforgettable moments.
Grace isn’t just a brilliant creator. She’s someone who sees women clearly, our stories, our spark, our depth, and she invites those truths to unfold with such warmth. Our conversation was full of meaning, laughter, honesty, and a lot of sparkle.
How Sparkling Alchemy® Truly Began
Sparkling Alchemy was born during one of the hardest seasons of my corporate life.
I was in a job that no longer felt aligned. I was exhausted and craving something joyful, something creative, meaningful, and mine.
One spark changed everything.
I discovered permanent jewelry at an event and felt an immediate, almost electric, knowing:
“This is meant for me.”
Permanent jewelry was:
beautiful
intentional
meaningful
sparkly
and deeply relational
Within three weeks, I had taken accredited training, purchased my welder, and booked my first popup in the Denver area.
I didn’t have a perfect plan.
I just followed what lit me up.
Joy really is a compass.
And following it was the beginning of building a luxury jewelry experience for women who crave beauty, connection, and meaning.
Leaving My 9–5 to Become a Full-Time Entrepreneur
Grace asked about the moment I finally walked away from corporate America… and even now, I still feel the emotional weight of that choice.
For years, I’d built Sparkling Alchemy on nights and weekends.
But the pull toward my own creative path grew stronger every day.
The turning point?
Realizing I was living for evenings and weekends when I was welding bracelets, meeting amazing women, and helping them celebrate meaningful moments.
That’s where the joy lived.
So this year, I finally chose myself.
I left my 9–5 and stepped fully into this dream.
And I said something on the podcast that I want every woman to hear:
“You’re never behind. You’re becoming — in your perfect timing.”
I wasn’t ready ten years ago.
I’m ready now.
And that is enough.
Designing a Life That Lights Me Up
One of the most meaningful parts of our conversation was reflecting on how intentionally I’ve built my life now:

✨ acting again
✨ travel and ocean-chasing
✨ a beautiful community
✨ a business rooted in joy
